The Fly Agaric Planter Gnome with Saxophone is a charming example of classic German garden ceramics, combining decorative appeal with functional design. The original model dates back to around 1950 and was created by the traditional Hertwig company, a name closely associated with high-quality ceramic garden figures.
The gnome is seated next to a fly agaric mushroom and plays a saxophone, giving the figure a calm, friendly, and slightly playful character. The mushroom itself forms the planter, making this piece both a decorative object and a functional accent for shelves, windowsills, or indoor display areas.
Important: This item is intended strictly as a decorative overpot. Soil must not come into direct contact with the ceramic. Please place a separate inner pot or plastic container inside to protect the material and preserve the figure over time.
